Allseas

The Swiss-based Allseas Group is one of the major offshore pipelay and subsea construction companies in the world, operating six specialised vessels, which were designed in-house. We provide worldwide support to clients from the conceptual design stage to engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.

Allseas operates worldwide with the dynamically positioned pipelay vessels Solitaire, Audacia, and Lorelay, the shallow-water pipelay barge Tog Mor and the dynamically positioned support and subsea installation vessels Calamity Jane and Manta.
In 2011, Pieter Schelte, the 382 m long, 117 m wide dynamically positioned platform installation/ decommissioning and pipelay vessel, will be put into service.

For students in the last phase of their technical studies, Allseas offers various interesting opportunities for internships and graduation projects. Some 60 positions are available every year, amongst others within Innovations, Installation Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Flooding and Testing.

For young, recently graduated engineers, Allseas has engineered two tailor-made traineeships. Within a year of intensive training, we train you to become a R&D Engineer, Installation Engineer, Structural Engineer, Production Engineer, Naval Architect or Field Engineer.

Traineeship Research & Development.
Research & Development trainees work within the Innovations team, which is responsible for all modifications to, and new construction designs for, Allseas’ vessels and equipment. This includes working on design, analysis, working procedures, material takeoff, etc.

Traineeship Engineering.
Engineering trainees work within the Engineering team, which is responsible for all job preparatory work, such as design, analyses, working procedures, material takeoff and offshore engineering support for Allseas’ vessels and equipment.
